Hello! Welcome to my MTA page! I am Indigo Seas, the author of a couple of stories you might have seen around HPFF, which include "Wedding of Unthinkable Mistakes" and "Abyss" (both can be found in my signature). 1. What is your favorite era, and why? I would have to say the Post-Hogwarts, because it allows me to create my own stories without contradicting the books.
2. Which HP charactor reminds you the most of yourself? Hermione (not very unique, but still) because she is SUCH a bookworm (like me!) and she's not very popular. She has friends, but does not have her own "crowd." I also like to think of myself as smart, like her.
3. What is your favorite story you've written? Well, the one in response to your challenge is coming along well, but that's not finished yet, so I don't know if that counts. I LOVE my story "The Wedding of Unthinkable Mistakes" just because it's working out just like I want it to. (If you're bored and have nothing better to do, you can read it with the link above. )
4. How old were you when you started writing? The oldest I can REMEMBER would have to be second grade. It wasn't fanfiction, though, because I hadn't read HP yet. I only started to write fanfic this year.
5. Where do you live? (Country, not street address, lol) In America, in Oregon. From what I know, you're from the US of A too!
6. What is your favorite band/singer? I tend to rotate, but right now I would have to say "Coldplay" and OneRepublic"

1. Whats your favorite color? I really haven't made up my mind on that one yet. I do think blue is nice, though.
2. Whats the best story you've ever read? I really liked "Not a Girl Detective" and "Girls on Film" (I can't remember the author's names at the moment...) I also loved "House of the Scorpion" too.
3. Do you prefer night or day? Day!!!! I'm not really a dark kind of person....
4. What would you like to be when you grown up? I'm thinking a teacher, though I still don't know. It's scary, because time is running out to make a decision.
5. What is your favorite HP charactor? Dumbledor!! Though *Spoiler Alert!! ) he's dead, so I guess he doesn't count. I like Remus a lot, but he died too! *sniff* Um... Besides Tonks (dead) and Dobby (dead) I'm going to have to say Luna. She's funny...
6. Are you a member of any other websites? (ex. Photobucket, Facebook, Live Journal, Deviantart) I'm not really an internet type of person (I'm writing all the time!) so I only have accounts here (on the forums) on Harrypotterfanfiction.com, and also on PhotoBucket, to store all of my banners.

1) Favorite ship to write would have to be Ron and Hermione. I have not written a lot of them, but those two are my favorite characters so they are fun to write. Favorite ship to read would have to be... Ron and Hermione! I just love them. My favorite ship to "throw darts at" would have to be Draco/Hermione. (No offence to people who write them!!!) I just think that Hermione would be to smart for him, and he's to evil. However, some people write this ship beautifully, so sometimes i DO like it.

2)Date a Harry Potter character??? I'd have to say Fred or George Weasley.They seem so funny and nice.... *eyes glaze over in day-dream*

3) I think that Rupert Grint plays Ron beautufully! He is my favorite actor in the trio.

4) I think.... I would have to save either Snape or Remus. Just some random characters that I both adore....

5) Fruit!!!! I like.... apples. Simple, yet tasty!!!!

Ello, Rin. I figured I'd pop in and ask you a few questions, since not only are you one of my favorite writers, you're also one of the nicest people on this Forum.

Okay, I really love your writing style. It's graceful, poetic and really moving. I think the only word I could really sum it up with would be elegant. The Wedding is one of my all time favorite fics ever, and you are really amazing at using human emotions in that story.

So, on to my questions, eh?

1.] A lot of people consider age to be a factor in writing mature work, but you are pretty young (don't take that the wrong way) and write some of the most adult works I know. Why do you think that is?

Wow, I'm not quite sure how to respond to this one (not in a bad way)... I don't think I'm more "mature" than people in my age group, though I know exactly what you're talking about. I guess I just have some pretty mature ideas, that I need to get out on paper (or a website ). I think the thing is that most people my age think these things, though they don't bother writing about it. I'm still not sure if I answered your question completely...

2.] How inspirational do you consider Coldplay to your writing?

Oh wow, I've never thought about this, so I'm really glad you asked the question! I guess they are pretty inspirational, just because it sets me in the mood when I'm writing (like in "Abyss"). They're pretty romantic and angsty, and I guess those are pretty big genres in that story. So, yeah, they're pretty inspirational in my writing, just because I listen to them all the time!

3.] Which writers do you look up to the most?

There are a ton, and I don't think I can list them all here. I love Vivian Vande Velde, who writes some of the coolest sci-fi/fantasy (I know, a weird pairing) you will ever read. I also love Dan Brown, who wrote the Di Vinci Code. He spins such a web of details and mystery, that I hope one day I will be able to copy.

4.] What type of fanfic do you prefer to read?

I really, really love One-Shots, just because they fit so much detail in them! I usually find them very easy (and fun) to read. I also prefer to read Short Stories, just because I hate it when good Novellas or Novels get abandoned (and they take so long to finish! I'm very impatient ). Usually, if I'm in the right mood, romance is my favorite genre to read, and I (most often than not) cannot stand Dramione (though there are exceptions!). I hope I answered your question correctly...

5.] What 5 books that are NOT in a fantasy series your favorites?

Hmm.... that's a little hard, seeing as I usually read fantasy! I guess it would have to be...
1) "House of the Scorpion" by Nancy Farmer
2) "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd
3) "The Di Vinci Code" (though is that fantasy?) by Dan Brown
4) "Heir Apparent" by Vivian Vande Velde
5) "Jack" by... I don't know!

They are in no particular order.

Yeah, I usually get my inspiration from movies I watch, books I read, and songs I listen to, to answer your question. I don't usually get my ideas from real life, though. I guess I'm not a very interesting person.

Yes, Indigo Seas is my penname as well. The name just kind of came to me when I was signing up for HPFF. I didn't really give it much thought...

Well, I've actually written a couple of things with me in them, but I'm not going to (and wouldn't dream of) publishing them. They were written for myself, and just for fun.

3. What is your favorite flavor if popcorn?(regular, salted, buttery, sweet and buttery, ect.)
Just regular for me, actually.
